Good short vacation sites in illinois area?

I am going on vacation in a few days. We will be towing a 40 foot RV. we want to go somewhere within a 3 or four hour drive. The place has to, obviously, have an RV park, as well as offer some great fishing, for mainly bass and sport fish.
please be as detailed as possible, and if you have any personal experiences with the place, please tell me. it doesn’t have to be in illinois. just that general area. thank you so much.
i don’t want six flags or the dells cuz we’ve been there 5 and 9 times, respectively.

What to take on an 11 day vacation to the beach in California?

Hi I am going to Pismo Beach California in the end of may and the begining of june. I will be doing plenty of shopping and sun tanning. What all should I pack for this trip. I am already buying some new bikinis, butI am stumped on what i will need and what to put in my actual suitcase. And I am not flying I am going in an RV with family. Thanks

What are the basic items for an 8 day vacation to Myrtle beach with a friend?

I am going with her family to myrtle beach. her father has a RV (mobile home) along with tents. He likes the temperature to be cold in the RV, but I assume it will be hot outside. What are some basic things to take on this trip? I am going on a scavenger hunt thing too and swimming.

Planning a vacation to Alaska; What are the places to visit?

I am planning to fly to Alaska, and rent an RV. I would rather visit in a leisurely manner the beautiful sceneries of alaska, and attractions. INSTEAD of regimented visits done during the Cruises(I feel they are expensive).

Any suggestions of what places to visit? What scenic routes to visit? and Glaciers, etc? Thank you.

Where can I take my baby on vacation?

My husband is leaving in October for Afghanistan, so we want to go on a family vacation together before he leaves. We are taking the trip mid August, my daughter will be 18 months by then. We would like to take an RV wherever we go. I was thinking camping, we like walking nature trails. The vacation will be 2 weeks, we just want to enjoy ourselves. I just don’t know where to go with a toddler?
