Gearing can also have a significant impact on this. I’d take a look at what gearset you’re running in the rear-end and see if there’s room for a swap to shorter gears (numerically higher). Just make sure your brakes are in good shape, and maybe even upgrade them while you’re at it.

an easy way to increase ur gvwr is to add over load springs, an add a Leif kit or load air bags. use caution so you don’t haul more than you can stop. you may also burn up your tranny pulling to heavy of a load. in any case it can easily be done. good luck
