What to take on an 11 day vacation to the beach in California?

I will be doing plenty of shopping and sun tanning. What all should I pack for this trip. I am already buying some new bikinis, butI am stumped on what i will need and what to put in my actual suitcase. And I am not flying I am going in an RV with family. Thanks
Lots of shorts, tanks, flip flops and bathing suits and prob a cute evening outfit!!
It’s going to be a lot cooler than you expect unless you’re from Canada. The water will still be too cold to get into unless you have a wetsuit. Bring a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, t-shirts, beanie, shorts.

As someone who has stayed in Pismo, you get “Gray May” and “June Gloom” BIG time up there. You’ll need both shorts and long pants, clothing for warm and cold weather. Don’t forget some cool walking shoes.
Are you staying at Pismo Coast Village? GREAT place to stay. You can walk into town, down to the pier, etc. Pismo is a great beach town.
But you aren’t going to be able to tan as much as you think. But have fun anyway!
Bad timing. From mid May to mid June California usually has cloudy, overcast weather. It happens every year. It’s the seasonal “gloomy weather” before the heat of late Spring and Summer. If you can put this off until the last two weeks of June you will be pleasantly rewarded.
