Vacation ideas for 3 generations?

Posted: February 7th, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: Common Questions | Tags: , , | 3 Comments »

I need family vacation ideas for 3 generations. I am 17, my brother is 7, my parents are mid 40′s, my uncle and aunt are mid 30′s, and my grandparents are mid 60′s. I would love vacation ideas that are within the United States. We prefer driving, whether it’s a van or an RV.
Thanks so much!

If you love the great outdoors, you may want to consider the beautiful North Georgia Mountains of Blue Ridge.
Stay in a mountain cabin where everyone will have room to spread out and relax.

I have an upscale vacation rental which is great for all generations. We have wireless internet (so you can bring your laptop), satellite TV, a huge game room with a pool table, poker/card table, handcrafted LOG checker board table and log benches, custom cedar top wet bar.

We also have a screen porch with a wood burning fireplace and 6 person hot tub, great mountain views, and a covered wrap around deck with loads of rockers to enjoy the views.

    AREA ACTIVITIES:
*Ocoee River – White Water Rafting, Kayaking, Tubing
    *Toccoa River – Tubing, fishing
*Blue Ridge Marina – Jet Ski & Boat Rentals
*Aska Adventure Wilderness Area – Hiking and Biking
*Lake Blue Ridge, Lake Nottely, Morganton Point – swimming, boating, picnics
*Golf , Horseback riding, antique shopping
*Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (where you can take a 3 1/2 hour train ride through the mountains and along the river. The train stops over in TN where you can get out and have a bite to eat before heading back to Blue Ridge.

I’d love for your family to check out my website:

With that wide a age range why not try the National Parks? We go to Yellowstone twice a year, Spring and Fall. Each park has it’s special attractions. Here’s a link to help you get started:http://www.nps.gov/
    See our great country first!

I’d like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it’s hard to understand why people don’t stay home.
Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere – anywhere but home.
