We found out that in the City of Federal way you can not have one over 25 ft. Has anyone ever deal with the city on this and know of any way to make it right?

You can request a waiver from the city counsel, but that is unlikely. Either lobby to change the law, or move the bus out.
things like this are stupid thats why we buy property so we can do what we want on it. this world is turning into communist
A friend of mine had the same problem with his 33 foot Surveyor class A motor home. Fortunately he has a large enough yard to store it in.
The law in our city prohibits all recreational vehicles including boats and trailers from being stored in public view. That means parked in the street, front yard or driveway.
What my friend did was pull it up into the driveway beside his house and build a fence with a double wide gate behind it. Out of sight out of mind…well sort of. He can no longer use is garage to park his other vehicles but least city hall is off his back.
Yes, although it was sub-division covenants that prohibited parking it on the street. We put a double-wide gate in the privacy fence and put it in the back yard, no problems. You might also consider checking out storage unit rentals. If it’s fenced, sometimes they allow RVs, boats and campers to be parked for a small fee.
