your 12v lights may be on an inverter check the manual there should be a fuse or circuit breaker in the inverter or possible a fuse out somewhere else in the system odds are there is because of the multitude of power sources available to a motor home this is totally plausable

if you are talking house lites then you need to check house batts they are not same as engine start house batts charge when you plug in shore power throuh convertor which changes 110 vac to 12 vdc that is why have lites when pluged in house batts also charge from engine alt throuh a relay that closes when engine running and opens when engine stops so engine batts not used for house you need to check house batts to see if ok i dought it most only last 2 yrs beause convertor overcharges batts you need to check if alt is chargeing house batts done with volt metter digtal type as charging if ok 14 to 14.5 measured at batts where house batts and relay etc hard to tell over email no two motor homes same email me if you need more info i am full time motor homer have owned many now have bus conversion
