My dream is a motorhome,to travel greece and europe,but buying one in greece,costs the earth,and if i get one?

from germany,uk etc,I need to change number places costing a forture,any infor.\My husband and I dreamt for this for nearly 3oyears but we have spent all our money on our children (no regrets)but life is getting shorter and health is not the same,so it looks like we will never follow our dream,any inform very much apprieciated.

    Here is the word from a guy who did it back in the mid 70′s.First a motorhome is not fuel efficient, is big and bulky, is very expensive to operate and maintain, and is nerveracking to drive on narrower european roads. Personally I bought an old Mercedes diesel delivery van and did a homemade conversion on the interior.Figure out which country is the easiest to register it in, and go enjoy. Holland was a very good place to buy an old van.
