I am looking at a 42 foot Motorhome. What states will prohibit me driving that length w/o commercial license?

    none that i know of,its not a commercial vehicle.in most of the us,you do not need a commercial license to drive a modified semi used as a recreation vehicle.(unless laws have changed over the last 7 yrs or so)

    as long as it dose not have air brakes or weigh more that 20,000 GVWR you don’t have to worry about anything
