husband and i are thinking of buying a motorhome but have heard a rumour of an extra tax on them any info ?

husband and I are torn between purchasing a caravan or a motorhome, but heard a rumour of a tax to be introduced on motorhomes, anyone know of this ?

    My friend has one supposedly you pay a tax every year because it is considered another home///maybe you should rethink this?

    Your use of the word “caravan” indicates maybe you are not here in the U.S., so I can’t really say what’s in store where YOU live.

    There is no extra tax on MY motorhome here in California, unless you count the fuel and sales taxes loaded onto the price of diesel fuel.
