I need to get the pitman arm, idler arm, and the upper and lower tie-rods replaced. It is a 1977 GMC Motorhome. About how much am I looking at on average to do all of this?

you might look into finding parts from a salvage lot, there are lots of old chevy trucks with the same suspension parts lying around. It could save you a bundle. I’m not really sure how much the labor would be, probably $400 to $600 would be a good guess.

Basic truck is the same labor, the parts are larger more $ maybe.
You want to have all replaced, they can”t be all bad.
What about the ball joints ?
    Pit $50 labor 1 hr,
    Idler 35 labor 1 hr.
    ties $15 each X4 – Labor 1.5 hr
Combined all labor is 2.8 hrs

    There is alignment charges also.

    Ball joints X4@ $50 each. Labor 1.5
    Combined 1 hr each.
Total of 6.8 hrs labor. via real time labor guide.
