our motor home has been out of service for awhile and now that we have decided to live in it and travel we found out it was broken…any ideas why or how to fix it? are there any likely common problems with motor home fridges?

    HI!
ASSUMING THE FRIDGE NORMALLY RUNS ON: 12 VOLTS DC(LO VOLTAGE) & 120VOLTS AC(HI VOLTAGE) & PROPANE(LPG), THEN THE PROBLEM DEPENDS ON WHICH SOURCE YOU’RE USING. BUT, ONE THING IS SURE- THE COACH HAS TO BE LEVEL FOR THE FRIDGE TO WORK! AND IT TAKES A GOOD 12 TO 24 HOURS BEFORE IT REALLY GETS COLD. ONCE IT DOES GET COLD, ITS FINE AS LONG AS YOU PARK LEVEL AT NIGHT. IF YOU’VE BEEN USING THE ELECTRIC SOURCES WITHOUT RESULTS, YOU’LL HAVE TO CHECK POWER- BREAKERS FOR HI VOLTAGE AND FUSES FOR LO. ALL FOUND IN THE BREAKER BOX ON BOARD THE COACH. I’D GO PROPANE ALL THE WAY MYSELF! ONE LITTLE FLAME SHOULD BE VISABLE THRU THE SIGHT GLASS.

    GOOD LUCK AND SAFE RV’ING!
