Hi Im thinking of buying a 1976 Robin Motorhome.Is it smog exempt?

I live in chula vista,ca.It does not run so Id have to repair it and then pay for any smog repairs as well as possibly pay late fees for not getting it smoged in time.Or just not be able to recieve the title until it is smogged.I dont wan to go through the hassle so Im hoping it is smog exempt.

    Any vehicle older then 1996 will not be tested. The facilities have removed the dynos that were used to spin the wheels when put in neutral and now they rely solely on the computer readings that have been installed in almost every car since 1996.
