Do you need to remove the radio fuse prior to towing a Honda CRV behind a motorhome? The fuse…?

…is really hard to get at.
The owners manual recommends removing the radion fuse prior to towing the Honda CRV. The fuse is very hard to get to. We don’t plan to tow more than 6-8 hours per day. Experienced advice would be appreciated.

    That’s a puzzling requirement!
I think it has nothing to do with towing per-se, but that the radio draws a small amount of power all the time to keep its station memory. So anytime you don’t run the car engine, probably for weeks at a time, this would be a good idea.

But if you are going to run the car more often that once a week or so, this probably is not a problem.

If it’s easier, just remove the battery’s ground strap.
